A Brief History of "A Prompt Computer Service"

1999: Inception & Conception

Rick Boggs left corporate America as a Tier 3 Systems Engineer and AVP of Developer Support Group for Bank of America Dallas in mid-1999. Together with friend and colleague Catherine Hunter, they started A Prompt Computer Service, Inc. in Grapevine, TX, so that they could provide small businesses with Enterprise-level Support and Solutions.

2010: MSP Model

Changed to an MSP business model, billing clients monthly instead of per incident. Helped everyone budget their IT expenses.

2015: Added VOIP

Formed our first VoIP partnership and deployed several systems, including a 120-phone car-dealership network.

2022: Moved to the Country

Moved our Corporate Headquarters to just outside of Paris, TX. Gonna miss Grapevine, but love it out here in the country — and so does Nugget!
